I face the big wide anything:
I can be whatever my heart desires –
And it is terrifying.

There is no have to
That does not belong to me.
My have to’s include
Being happy
Walking barefoot
And living in the Light.

I still want to run away,
But not to escape –
To explore,
To experience
For the sake of adventure alone –
And it is exhilarating.

I embrace the big, wide, anything
With timid footsteps
Away from what I’ve known
Finding,
For the first time,
Solid ground –
And it is liberating.
