Unitarian Universalists of the global minority, I’m going to hold your hand while I say this:

Yes, it actually is your responsibility to learn how to regulate your nervous system enough to have these difficult conversations, and to be initiating them in your community.

It is your responsibility as a person of privilege in this system to have compassion for those in the system who do not, to slow down our rapid ascent to the moral high ground, to actually include those who are different from us and to stop pretending that people with less privilege than your performative-woke ass are the problem.
