HP Rivers (they/she) was raised on love and coffee by Westside UU Church in Knoxville, TN. They are a Queer, Neurodivergent, Pagan UU religious educator and author of “Something Resembling God,” a book of poetry about the many wild and wonderful ways we relate to the Divine.
Helen studied social work in undergrad and graduated with their MA in Social Change from Starr King School for the Ministry in 2023. They have worked with children and youth for over 15 years and spent four years serving a UU congregation as Director of Religious Education. They are currently working in social media, writing, and editing and are available for new projects, consulting, and wedding officiant services.
They are passionate about writing, baking, photography, and building the Beloved Community.
